THE CHALLENGE
Tastebuds are becoming more and more attuned to global standards—thanks to safer and better travel opportunities as well as international concepts opening up in the country. Given this, there’s been a demand for authentic cuisines, but these are often served in either fine dining or casual sit down setups. But how about for those who are just craving a quick bite?

THE SOLUTION
Enter Chop Alley — the solution to your Taiwanese cravings. True to its street food offerings, Chop Alley is designed to be accessible and crave-worthy for the everyday diner. We took it to the streets to look for the recipe for success.

BRAND DIRECTION

Beyond the usual street grit, we looked into what makes the streets of Taiwan actually special. And we found a harmony of the old and new. Therefore, we designed a brand identity that takes cues from street imagery and local vintage paraphernalia, such as newspapers and posters—making it unmistakably Taiwanese.

We designed posters inspired by newspapers ads and vintage martial arts posters, giving the brand humor and action. Chop Alley showcases its food in a fun and bold, yet appetizing way, through in-your-face design that goes straight to your tummy.
