VIDRO: CAPTURING CELEBRATIONS IN FULL COLOR.

OVERVIEW

Vidro prides itself in bringing handmade glassware and dinnerware from colorful Portugal, transforming any table into the perfect setting for a vibrant celebration. Their product showcase includes handblown glasses in a range of majestic hues, offering unique centerpieces worthy of even the most special occasions.

While we focus primarily on branding and design, we sometimes have clients who we continue to work with far beyond the branding phase. Vidro is one such client who we get to flex our marketing muscles on a regular basis. As with any new brand, our challenges involved pinpointing the target market, determining the ideal and most effective touchpoints, and continuing to communicate Vidro's core messages through its marketing efforts.

Custom serif logotype design for Portuguese glassware brand Vidro

We designed the Vidro identity around the liveliness and warmth of Portuguese culture, all while keeping a contemporary market in mind. Inspired by the products' artistry and uniqueness, we adopted elements from stained glass windows to create a distinct Vidro pattern and curated an unexpected but well-balanced and playful mix of typefaces.

After a few months online, we realized that the market Vidro was successfully reaching was slightly more specific than who we were initially talking to. Thus, we were able to pinpoint the ideal Vidro customers: a group we fondly call "Titas Who Instagram." Armed with this insight, we set out to realign the Vidro brand to the inclinations of its loyal customer base.

Knowing the market's habits, we focused most of our online marketing efforts on Instagram. This allowed Vidro's Instagram account to be the biggest source of visitors for the Vidro website, accounting for a third of its visitors in the past year.

Since we started working with them in late 2015, and the launch back in 2017, we have constantly been conceptualizing each of Vidro's campaign's message and tone, the creative direction involved in shooting content and creating online graphics, down to social media management.

We make sure that each campaign reflects a dining and drinking experience full of colorful celebrations.
